Didn't we already have one loser of as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, so why is President Trump having a private meal with Mitt Romney today? Lets look at the Pros and Cons of this, Mitt is rich does have international experience and contacts throughout the world, he would walk into the job able to revamp the State Department but would he? Or would he use his position to set his own agenda trying to undercut everything President Trump wants to do in dealing with the world this is the problem having a former Presidential candidate running the State Department, Mitt has proved he thinks he is smarter better and more powerful then President Trump, so this is a very dangerous choice, you want someone who works for you who not working behind your back to destroy everything you know needs to be done. What Mitt did in taking President Trump’s money to help him lose in 2012 was bad enough, but then he not only came out and against him this election but he publicly vilified him in the worst public attack that any Presidential candidate has ever had to endure, he not only told the world he did not trust President Trump Mitt Romney savaged Donald Trump as deeply dishonest and fundamentally unelectable in a much-touted speech in Utah, then he came up with a joke candidate to run against him in Utah. How can President Trump ever trust this man?
I don’t understand how President Trump and the American people can ever trust a man who said this “Here’s what I know: Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud,” Romney said. “His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University. He’s playing members of the American public for suckers: He gets a free ride to the White House, and all we get is a lousy hat.” I know I’ve tried to keep and open mind to think past Mitt’s words but I just can’t get past it, but it does prove that President Trump is a better man then me or almost all of us. Today he will meet again with Moronic Mitt and may offer him the position of Secretary of State if he does this then we need to accept that President Trump made the right choice at the same time we all must keep a careful eye on Mitt to make sure he is doing his job not working for himself.
